International Haus of Awesomeness (IHOA)
A place set aside specifically
for the purpose of awesomeness
IHOA is many things, but it is foremost a hub for Jesus followers from near and far who come to serve for a season and plug in to what God is doing in the area. It's a place for people to practice and cultivate a crazy lifestyle that is led by the Holy Spirit and dependent on Jesus. Although we are constantly learning here, this is not a school. This is the field. This is a home. But don't get too comfortable, because this is also a launching pad.

After being in Austria for two years, we decided to multiply our ability to serve the community around us by calling in reinforcements. So we invited some young friends to come live and work with us for a season as a family, sharing resources, walking out discipleship, and serving together. Despite the fact that we didn't actually have a house at that time, they accepted our request and began making arrangements to come. And since this whole thing was God's idea to begin with, God of course provided the house. So in December 2013, IHOA became a thing in Salzburg, Austria.
Since then, we have had a continuous flow of people from different nations come through for various amounts of time. Each one brings their own strengths and gifts to bless the community, and they come away with more Jesus, more friends, and more family than they started with.
In 2015, IHOA moved to upper Austria to serve Linz, Mauthausen, and the surrounding areas.
